Impulse paper for the revision of the National Hydrogen Strategy: Hydrogen Center Bavaria (H2.B) publishes catalog of measures

NUREMBERG - The revision of the National Hydrogen Strategy (NHS) is absolutely necessary in view of the current tense energy policy situation and partly fundamentally changed framework conditions. The Hydrogen Center Bavaria (H2.B) advocates a stronger consideration of Bavarian positions in the update of the NHS and, on the basis of a multi-stage consultation process with 35 stakeholders from the Hydrogen Alliance Bavaria, developed an impulse paper comprising thirteen fundamental measures that are essential for a successful implementation of the energy transition with the help of hydrogen technologies.

Hydrogen Alliance Bavaria continues to grow: Airport Energie Management GmbH joins the Hydrogen Alliance Bavaria as 300th partner

MUNICH - Three years after the foundation of the Hydrogen Center Bavaria (H2.B) and the Hydrogen Alliance Bavaria, Airport Energie Management GmbH became the 300th partner of the Hydrogen Alliance Bavaria yesterday. Hubert Aiwanger (Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy and Deputy Bavarian Prime Minister) and Stefan Dürr (Head of Technology & Innovation at H2.B - standing in for Managing Director Dr. Fabian Pfaffenberger) handed the official partnership certificate in Munich to Peter Waizenegger, Director of Airport Energie Management GmbH in Memmingen and to Ralf Schmid, Managing Director of Memmingen Airport. Airport Energie Management GmbH is an affiliated company of Flughafen Memmingen GmbH and e-con AG from Memmingen.

Bavarian delegation trip to Oman: Close cooperation planned in the field of green hydrogen

MUSCAT, NIMR / OMAN - Bavaria's State Secretary for Economic Affairs Roland Weigert (StMWi) traveled to Oman from November 9 to 14 with a 29-member Bavarian delegation from business, science and politics to meet with high-ranking government representatives and relevant hydrogen stakeholders. Bavaria and the Sultanate of Oman want to strengthen their economic and energy relations and cooperate closely, especially in the field of green hydrogen.

Nuremberg - The 3rd HYDROGEN DIALOGUE Summit & Expo offered more than 70 top-class lectures, talks and panel discussions along the entire value chain of the global hydrogen economy from September 21-22. More than 100 speakers and over 1,000 participants discussed current challenges and opportunities in the context of the energy crisis, international projects and collaborations, and the financing of hydrogen projects. Several side events also took place during the HYDROGEN DIALOGUE.

Erlangen - As part of the WOCHE DES WASSERSTOFFS SÜD ("WEEK OF HYDROGEN SOUTH") #WDWS2022, the "H2 CityTour Erlangen: Everything revolves around H2" took place on Saturday, July 2. After the festive opening of the H2 CityTour by Dr. Florian Janik, Mayor of the City of Erlangen and Thorsten Glauber, Bavarian State Minister for the Environment and Consumer Protection (representing Economics Minister Aiwanger), an informative and diverse stage program was offered from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the town hall square in Erlangen. Bavarian hydrogen delegation trip to Colombia: Kick-off for intensification of partnership

Bogotá / Bucaramanga / Cartagena - Under the leadership of Bavaria's State Secretary for Economic Affairs, Roland Weigert, a Bavarian hydrogen delegation with representatives from research and industry traveled to Colombia last week to intensify the bilateral partnership. The hydrogen delegation trip was described by State Secretary for Economic Affairs Roland Weigert as a kick-off for the intensification of the partnership with Latin America's fifth largest economy with regard to energy transformation. H2.B board member Prof. Peter Wasserscheid: "Colombia is a partner with fantastic prospects for the export of green hydrogen."
