Five years Hydrogen Center Bavaria (H2.B) and Hydrogen Alliance Bavaria
NUREMBERG - Today, the Hydrogen Center Bavaria (H2.B) is celebrating its fifth anniversary. The Center can already look back on a remarkable success story. With the objective of closely supporting the implementation of the Bavarian hydrogen strategy and connecting key players from business, science and politics, the Center was established at the Energy Campus Nuremberg in 2019, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Veronika Grimm and Prof. Dr. Peter Wasserscheid. Since its beginning, the H2.B has bundled the entire hydrogen expertise from Bavaria aiming at building a strong Bavarian hydrogen economy and accelerating practical applications.
IFAT Munich 2024 – Hydrogen in the circular economy
Munich – From 13th-17th May IFAT, one of the world’s leading trade fairs for environmental technologies attracted more than 142,000 visitors. This year, the Hydrogen Center Bavaria (H2.B) was – together with DVGW (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water) – a partner of the new “Spotlight Area Hydrogen” at IFAT.
Bavarian-Italian Hydrogen Forum: Successful continuation of cross-border cooperation in the hydrogen sector
MUNICH – Yesterday, more than 120 representatives from the Bavarian and Italian hydrogen industry as well as high-level political representatives, including the Bavarian State Minister Hubert Aiwanger, the Italian General Consul Sergio Maffettone, Giorgio Maione, Minister for Environment and Climate form the Lombardy region und Dina Lanzi, Vice President of the Italian Hydrogen Association H2IT, gathered at the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy in Munich to discuss and deepen the Bavarian-Italian cooperation in the field of hydrogen.
Meeting on Future Green Hydrogen Offtake
Munich - On September 25, more than 75 high-ranking representatives of ministries, industry and transmission system operators from Algeria, Tunisia, Austria, Italy, Germany as well as the EU Commission and other organizations met at the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs for the first "Meeting on Future Green Hydrogen Offtake" along the planned SoutH2Corridor.

MUNICH - On the occasion of the delegation trip of Australian business and government representatives to Germany, a Bavarian-Australian round table discussion was held yesterday at the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs. The Australian-Bavarian Hydrogen Round Table followed by networking focused on exploring opportunities for bilateral hydrogen cooperation, in particular the import of hydrogen from Australia to Bavaria and the supply of technology, products and know-how from Bavaria to Australia.
