Successful Networking Event between Dutch and Bavarian H2-Players

NUREMBERG – As part of a delegation trip of Dutch H2-players to Bavaria, representatives of both countries had the chance to network this week during the “Dutch-Bavarian Networking Event Green Hydrogen” in Nuremberg on the evening of June 27, 2023.

The event was organized in cooperation with the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Munich, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Berlin and the Electrolyser Makersplatform Netherlands. The occasion offered companies, research institutes and state representatives the opportunity to present their expertise in the field of green hydrogen and to foster cross-border contacts.

The participants were first welcomed by Honorary Consul Alexander Fackelmann. Afterwards, the co-organizers Carolin Reiser (H2.B) and Jelle Blekxtoon (FME) welcomed the participants in short introductory statements and eventually, the networking began!

The event was a great success and helped to strengthen the collaboration and partnerships between Dutch and Bavarian players in the green hydrogen industry. A large number of guests from Bavaria participated, including 15 representatives of the Hydrogen Alliance Bavaria. The Dutch side was represented by 20 institutions, amongst them the company Gasunie and the ports Port of Rotterdam and Port of Amsterdam.

The goal is to further promote the close economic relations between the Netherlands and Bavaria in the field of green hydrogen, as the Kingdom of the Netherlands will be an important H2-hub in the future. On the one hand, Bavaria will rely on the import of hydrogen, while on the other hand the Bavarian companies can provide renowned technologies to their Dutch neighbours.
