Hydrogen Center Bavaria
The State of Bavaria has founded the Hydrogen Center Bavaria (H2.B) to consolidate and expand the strong position of the Bavarian industry in the important future field of the hydrogen economy. In this way, the State of Bavaria is pursuing the goal of bringing together central players in industry, science and politics in order to advance the topic of the “hydrogen economy” in Bavaria as quickly as possible and to achieve the use of hydrogen in broad practical application.
Hydrogen Alliance Bavaria
During the founding event of H2.B on September 5, 2019, central players of a future Bavarian hydrogen economy signed the declaration of intent for the Hydrogen Alliance Bavaria. Its more than 402 partners from industry, science and politics declare that they will contribute to strengthening and expanding Bavaria’s technological competence in the field of innovative hydrogen technologies and support the activities of the Hydrogen Center Bavaria.

3. HYDROGEN DIALOGUE: over 1,000 national and international participants discussed for the first time in presence in Nuremberg
Nuremberg - The 3rd HYDROGEN DIALOGUE Summit & Expo offered more than 70 top-class lectures, talks and panel discussions along the entire value chain of the global hydrogen economy from September 21-22. More than 100 speakers and over 1,000 participants discussed current challenges and opportunities in the context of the energy crisis, international projects and collaborations, and the financing of hydrogen projects. Several side events also took place during the HYDROGEN DIALOGUE.
H2.B & Hydrogen Alliance Bavaria at H2 CityTour Erlangen of WEEK OF HYDROGEN SOUTH #WDWS2022
Erlangen - As part of the WOCHE DES WASSERSTOFFS SÜD ("WEEK OF HYDROGEN SOUTH") #WDWS2022, the "H2 CityTour Erlangen: Everything revolves around H2" took place on Saturday, July 2. Interested citizens could learn more about the topic of hydrogen with a focus on mobility and meet hydrogen actors (from the region) at three action sites in Erlangen. After the festive opening of the H2 CityTour by Dr. Florian Janik, Mayor of the City of Erlangen and Thorsten Glauber, Bavarian State Minister for the Environment and Consumer Protection (representing Economics Minister Aiwanger), an informative and diverse stage program was offered from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the town hall square in Erlangen. The Hydrogen Center Bavaria (H2.B) had organised this together with the HYDROGEN DIALOGUE of NürnbergMesse and in cooperation with H2 MOBILITY Germany.
Bavarian hydrogen delegation trip to Colombia: Kick-off for intensification of partnership
Bogotá / Bucaramanga / Cartagena - Under the leadership of Bavaria's State Secretary for Economic Affairs, Roland Weigert, a Bavarian hydrogen delegation with representatives from research and industry traveled to Colombia last week to intensify the bilateral partnership. The hydrogen delegation trip was described by State Secretary for Economic Affairs Roland Weigert as a kick-off for the intensification of the partnership with Latin America's fifth largest economy with regard to energy transformation. H2.B board member Prof. Peter Wasserscheid: "Colombia is a partner with fantastic prospects for the export of green hydrogen."
