High-ranking hydrogen conference – Second HYDROGEN DIALOGUE with national and international experts

Under the motto “Hydrogen as an opportunity for the economy, energy system and climate”, this year’s HYDROGEN DIALOGUE once again unites expertise at the highest level. Around 50 top-class national and international speakers from industry, science, and politics will discuss all aspects of the hydrogen value chain from June 22 to 23. How can the ramp-up of the hydrogen economy be accelerated? (Where) should hydrogen be prioritized? What is the importance of sustainable international value chains and energy partnerships at eye level? What are the economic, energy, climate and social policy opportunities for Germany? Among others, Federal Research Minister Anja Karliczek, Federal Transport Minister Andreas Scheuer, Katherina Reiche (Chairwoman of the National Hydrogen Council), Sven Ennerst (Member of the Board of Management of Daimler Truck AG), Jonatan Julien (Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Canadian province of Quebec) and Prof. Dr. Veronika Grimm (Executive Director of the H2.B and Chairwoman of the German Council of Economic Experts) will be speaking on these issues.

The presentations and discussions will cover the entire value chain: from production and logistics to the use of hydrogen – both nationally and internationally. New is an English-speaking conference section.

Prof. Dr. Peter Wasserscheid, Chairman of the H2.B and Director of HI-ERN, Dr. Markus Doll, Bundesnetzagentur, Andreas Kuhlmann, CEO dena, Prof. Dr. Gerald Linke, CEO DVGW, and Dr. Carola Kantz, VDMA, will discuss how the ramp-up of the hydrogen economy can quickly succeed. Under the title “Champagne or table water – on the distribution debate of hydrogen in Germany”, Sven Ennerst, Member of the Board of Management Daimler Truck AG, Maximilian Viessmann, Co-CEO Viessmann Group, Gunda Röstel, Commercial Managing Director Stadtentwässerung Dresden and Dr. Mathias Kranz, Vice President Onsite & Bulk Germany Linde, will be debating.

Other top national speakers include the Deputy Prime Minister of Bavaria and Minister of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy Hubert Aiwanger, Katherina Reiche, Chairwoman of the National Hydrogen Council, Dr. Klaus Bonhoff, Head of Department for Policy Issues at the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure , Dr. Markus Oles, Head of Carbon2Chem Sustainable Production, thyssenkrupp, and Prof. Dr. Veronika Grimm, Member of the Board of the H2.B and Chairwoman of the German Council of Economic Experts.

Excellent international expertise will also be on display, including Daryl Wilson, Executive Director Hydrogen Council, Philip Green, Australian Ambassador, Stéphane Dion, Canadian Ambassador, Jacob Krogsgaard, Founder and CEO of Everfuel, Thorsten Herbert, Director Market Development and Public Affairs at Nel ASA, and Dr. Nigel Holmes, CEO Scottish Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association.
