Hydrogen Center Bavaria
The State of Bavaria has founded the Hydrogen Center Bavaria (H2.B) to consolidate and expand the strong position of the Bavarian industry in the important future field of the hydrogen economy. In this way, the State of Bavaria is pursuing the goal of bringing together central players in industry, science and politics in order to advance the topic of the “hydrogen economy” in Bavaria as quickly as possible and to achieve the use of hydrogen in broad practical application.
Hydrogen Alliance Bavaria
During the founding event of H2.B on September 5, 2019, central players of a future Bavarian hydrogen economy signed the declaration of intent for the Hydrogen Alliance Bavaria. Its more than 402 partners from industry, science and politics declare that they will contribute to strengthening and expanding Bavaria’s technological competence in the field of innovative hydrogen technologies and support the activities of the Hydrogen Center Bavaria.

State Dialogue Hydrogen Baden-Württemberg – Bavaria 27.06.: “Realize instead of discuss”
Ulm - In the course of the "State Dialogue Hydrogen Baden-Württemberg - Bavaria" in Ulm, the essential question of how both southern German states can meet their future hydrogen demands was discussed. The event, held on June 27th as part of the WOCHE DES WASSERSTOFFS SÜD (#WDWS2022), highlighted common core interests and goals and identified approaches to cooperation between the hydrogen industries in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria. The cross-state discussion forum was organized by Plattform H2BW and the Hydrogen Center Bavaria (H2.B).
Delegation trip to Scotland & Norway: H2.B agrees cooperation with Scottish & Norwegian H2 cluster
GLASGOW / OSLO - In the course of a delegation trip led by Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger to Scotland and Norway, the Hydrogen Center Bavaria (H2.B) has agreed on closer international cooperation with important hydrogen clusters in Scotland and Norway.
IFAT 2022: H2.B at joint hydrogen pavilion
IFAT 2022 - the world's leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management - was held at Messe München from May 30 to June 3, 2022. H2.B and five other partners provided information on the topic of hydrogen in Bavaria at the "Joint Pavilion Hydrogen Bavaria". H2.B welcomed visitors at the joint hydrogen booth "Joint Pavilion Hydrogen Bavaria" together with the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Bavarian Ministry of the Environment and three partners of the Hydrogen Alliance Bavaria (BtX energy GmbH, Electrochaea GmbH, SYPOX) in hall A4.352.
