Bavaria and Scotland have been working closely and successfully together over many years on a range of technology topics. The increasing importance of green hydrogen from renewable energy and its many applications creates a tremendous opportunity for Bavarian and Scottish companies to explore the potential for collaboration.

This free to attend webinar on 3rd November is timed to coincide with the first week of COP26 in Glasgow, and is organised by the Scottish Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Association (SHFCA) and the Hydrogen Center Bavaria (H2.B). The speakers will provide an overview of hydrogen activities in Scotland and this south German region which together can support the transition to low carbon energy systems and Net Zero.

The opening comments by representatives from the Scottish and Bavarian Governments will provide examples of the opportunities for cooperation. The case study presentations from companies actively developing hydrogen products and services will give examples where joint activities between Scotland and Bavaria in this fast moving sector can help accelerate the deployment of hydrogen technologies and reduce carbon emissions.
