BAMBERG – How can hydrogen contribute to the decarbonisation and defossilisation of industrial processes? This question was the focus of the first on-site edition of our H2.INSIGHTS series at Robert Bosch GmbH in Bamberg.

MUNICH – At the Hydrogen Dialogue, which formed part of The smarter E Europe for the first time this year, numerous representatives of the hydrogen industry gathered in Munich. H2.B is the conceptual partner of the Hydrogen Dialogue.

MUNICH – The numerous partners in the Bavarian Hydrogen Alliance met once again this year at the Alliance’s internal general assembly. During the event, the Progress Report on the Hydrogen Ramp-Up was presented and handed over to Minister of State Hubert Aiwanger. In the ensuing discussion with Prof. Veronika Grimm, Prof. Peter Wasserscheid, Dr Martin Würth (UniCredit Bank) and Dr Jürgen Guldner (BMW), the findings were jointly analysed, with a particular focus on regulatory hurdles and bankability. There was also a presentation on the current state of hydrogen regulation by Christoph Kisker (Stiftung Umweltenergierecht).

MUNICH – At the general assembly of the Hydrogen Alliance Bavaria, the Hydrogen Center Bavaria (H2.B) handed over the Progress Report on the Hydrogen Ramp-Up in Bavaria to the Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, Hubert Aiwanger.

MUNICH - The “Showcase Day: Hydrogen Mobility” organised by Zentrum Wasserstoff.Bayern (H2.B) in cooperation with Ludwig-Bölkow-Systemtechnik GmbH on 11 March 2025 showed how hydrogen is already contributing to decarbonisation in the mobility sector today, what potential there is for the future and what steps are needed to further advance the ramp-up of the hydrogen economy in Bavaria. Under the patronage of the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, almost 100 participants came together to discuss current developments, challenges and opportunities.

Paris - From 28 to 30 January 2025, the H2.B was represented at the international H2 Associations Pavilion at Hyvolution Paris. The three days focused on the exchange between the 14 hydrogen organisations present as well as the exchange with the numerous visitors at Hyvolution.
