Digital launch for new hydrogen event HYDROGEN DIALOGUE
- New event from NürnbergMesse for European hydrogen community to launch as digital sector gathering on 18 November 2020
- Top speakers from leading companies and institutions in Germany and abroad, such as Siemens, Schaeffler, Bosch and Hydrogenious
- Power presentation by Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs and patron Hubert Aiwanger, and welcome by Nuremberg mayor Marcus König
The launch is going digital on account of the pandemic: Coronavirus concerns mean the new NürnbergMesse event for the hydrogen community, HYDROGEN DIALOGUE & NUEdialog, will take place in digital form on 18 November 2020. This first gathering for the European hydrogen community will enable experts from the fields of politics, economics and science to meet and network using the online platform talque.
“In close consultation with our partners in the hydrogen community, we have decided to launch HYDROGEN DIALOGUE in digital format,” advises Dr Roland Fleck, CEO of the NürnbergMesse Group. “So, despite the pandemic, we can enjoy an efficient and safe gathering to give the industry some important stimuli.”
Patron of the event is Bavaria’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Hubert Aiwanger, who will open the programme with a power presentation on the opportunities and possibilities offered by hydrogen: “I am happy to see that NürnbergMesse can bring together the hydrogenindustry digitally during the pandemic and create an important platform for dialogue between experts from the fields of politics, economics and science. Green hydrogen is a key element in the clean energy mix of the future.”
From the perspective of Nuremberg’s mayor Marcus König, who will give his welcoming address to the congress in digital form, now is the very time for platforms for dialogue: “Hydrogen is the key technology of the future, not only for businesses and research institutes in Nuremberg and the wider metropolitan area, but also to combat climate change as a whole.”
A high-quality programme of lectures will form part of the digital HYDROGEN DIALOGUE & NUEdialog 2020. In addition to Bavaria’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Hubert Aiwanger, top speakers will also include economic sage Professor Veronika Grimm, Schaeffler CEO Klaus Rosenfeld and Professor Armin Schnettler, CEO New Energy Systems (Siemens).
