Industry Transformation with Hydrogen: Practical Insights at Robert Bosch GmbH in Bamberg

BAMBERG – How can hydrogen contribute to the decarbonisation and defossilisation of industrial processes? This question was the focus of the first on-site edition of our H2.INSIGHTS series at Robert Bosch GmbH in Bamberg.

Representatives from industry, research and business discussed current challenges, technological solutions and practical examples of the use of hydrogen in the industry. The presentations, panel discussions and company pitches made it clear that hydrogen can be utilised in industry through the interplay of infrastructure, innovation and a strong ecosystem. Reliable and appropriate regulatory frameworks are also particularly important.

A particular highlight was the tour of the new hydrogen landscape on site, which offered insights into various stages of the hydrogen value chain – from production to storage.
